Title: Looking for Ringtone Profile settings Post by: timmyjoe42 on December 06, 2009, 10:57:54 PM I was a Blackberry user until last Sunday. I got spoiled by being able to set up different rings and chimes and such for the various types of incoming data. For example, I had one ringtone but then I also had one noise for Text Messages, another for Facebook Messages, and a third for Emails. I then set these up for each of my 3 favorite profiles: At work (when I like my ringers quiet), Normal (when I need them a little louder) and silent (For meetings or when I need my sleep).
Is there any type of widget or way to set this up in Android? App suggestions are welcome. I just wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything I was doing wrong with the widgets and internet search was turning up blank. I got a refund until this supports home replacements. I’m currently using aHome and do not wish to switch back to the default home client. BTW, does the default home support a “dock”? That’s the main reason I’m using aHome. I only have 3 screens (which default offers) but its the dock that’s most useful to me (using Blue iphone theme).
