Will the Cliq be able to upgrade to Android 2.0?

If so, will the Google GPS software will be included?

This is a make or break question for me. If yes, I buy the Cliq. If not,
I think I'll go with the Nokia N900.

thats one of motorola's last concerns right now but yes there will be updates in the future

Man ... I really like the Moto Blur feature too. I hope that this phone can get 2.0. I have yet to find any place that states for sure that this phone can get 2.0. IF anything I bet this phone will go to 1.6 before it goes to 2.0 since Moto Blur is a motorola feature. I have this feeling that if anything this phone is like Apple's first iPhone ... slow, freeze and sometimes crappy. I'm sure in less then a year Motorola will come out with MotoCliq2 and it will be up to our standards, it will just be like iPhones 3GS (Motorola Cliq 3GS w/ Moto Blur) LOL Anyway enough rants I love this phone just annoyed with the SLIGHT lag and touch screen dead spots. MAYBE an OS update would fix ?  Roll Eyes

Currently, there has been NO official releases from Motorola regarding future updates for the Cliq.  There are several discussions requesting information about it on the Motorola forums also.
