Hello,  My name is Jeff and I am a direct dealer with T-Mobile.  It was announced about two weeks ago that my store manager was going to name me the Motorola Cliq Champion in the store and that I would be receiving the phone to use as my personal phone in effort to train our other associates.

I received the phone yesterday and there are some pro's and con's.  I have had the MyTouch since it was released and like it a little better thus far.  Will see how the next couple weeks go.

Well, spoke with the Motorola Rep and he feels it's a software issue although no updates available at this time.  He's looking into seeing what he can do to get the phone replaced.  Hopefully, it will be soon as I really haven't had much time with the unit to determine my thoughts between it and the MyTouch

i don't even know if people are still coming here but i just got my motorola cliq today 11-6 and needless to say i've never had to read a phone manual before to learn to use it and it still doesn't provide enough information.

question one:  how the hell do i upload photos that people send in text messages?  i also had uploaded all my photo's from my old phone to my album on tmobile and then send them as messages back to myself....but how do i save them to the phone?

two:  is anyone else having a problem adding accounts?  i can't seem to add my google account and my myspace account.   if i don't have a google account i can't use the market?   Undecided

with that said....um if anyone has a clue, please advise

Might i remind you  the phone is still new and the forum has not taken off yet like others the behold forum didnt become fully active for a few months

for your first problem when you get them in a text/mms message click the message then long click on the picture to save it.

adding your gmail account is a common error right now do to tmobile problems in the last week or so.

ps ill make a note to myself to see how to get them to your phone if there in your album on tmobile and ill get back to you with how to do it

MOTOROLA CLIQ IS AMAZING!!! Awesome 5 screen display and really fast internet surfing when 3G is active. It was pretty simple to use. and as far as the email set up.. you have to make a new one when you first activate your phone.

i.e. Name: John Doe
new account would be
john.doe@motorola.com

this is all done when you first turn on the phone and have the CLIQ plan on it. Phone will not function without the CLIQ plan similar to the G1 and MyTouch.
