The supplied cable is pretty thick, stiff, and short.  I want to get a couple extra ones that I can leave at work and in the car.

Do any of these micro usb cables work?  (I have the Moto S9 headphones and only the motorola mini-usb charger worked for that.  My Blackberry charger wouldn't charge it.  Is that weird or a motorola built in safety?)

Yes. Any Micro USB cable will work. As long as that is the only thing you are using. IE: Charging it via your computer/laptop. If you wanted to get a USB car charger, you would need to get the charger that is compatible with your Cliq.

But for the most part... Any MicroUSB cable will work.

Just a heads up... T-mobile told me to buy a blackberry wall+USB cable charger. They said it will work on the Cliq. Beware... Don't fall for it. The specs of the actual charger is not correct. Though it will not *fry* your device, it simply will not work.

Hmmm...I ended up getting a universal car charger with the interchangable tips at the end.  I popped on the micro usb one and it seems to work fine.

I also bought a bunch of mini usb to micro usb adapter cables.  (They are about 3" long.)  I plugged them on the end of some usb cables and older motorola chargers and they work fine also.

Your assessment of the specs being different is making me wonder if maybe this is why my battery seems to be dying faster recently.  I've been consuming approximately 7% battery per hour of normal use.  I'm going to try using the original cable for a couple days to maybe pin down a difference.  I'd like to know if this is causing variations in battery performance.
